  • Thompson ’13 adds Harter to coaching staff

    Hobart Basketball Head Coach Stefan Thompson '13 announced the addition of DJ Harter to his staff as an assistant coach. A native of Holland Patent, Harter joins the Statesmen after spending the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Cortland.
  • Hobart tops RIT for Thompson’s 100th career win

    The Hobart basketball team completed a Liberty League weekend sweep with an 81-74 victory over Rochester Institute of Technology this afternoon, giving Statesmen Head Coach Stefan Thompson '13 his 100th career coaching win. Hobart earned its 10th win of the season with a gritty second half comeback after trailing by as many as 10 points in the first half.

    In his final regular season game in Bristol Gym, Hobart senior Tucker Lescoe went off. The program's career 3-point record holder added to his legacy in a big way, sinking a game record 12 3-pointers as Hobart College defeated Skidmore College 93-67 in Liberty League men's basketball action.

    Hobart College basketball All-American Stefan Thompson '13 will return to his alma mater as an assistant coach for the 2017-18 season, Head Coach Tim Sweeney announced today. Thompson, who spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Wilkes University, replaces Mark Linebaugh who joined the coaching staff at Rice University.

    GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College flirted with a school record for 3-point success in an 87-70 victory over the University of Rochester in non-conference men's basketball action tonight. The Statesmen made 17 triples on the night, one off the school record set in 2009.
