PLYMOUTH, WI - The Benedictine University women's basketball team lost for the first time in conference play at Lakeland University after a difficult second half.

Benedictine led for the entire first quarter, jumping ahead on a Casey Williams three-pointer
Britney Pitzer made a three-pointer late in the quarter to make the score 15-10 but Lakeland came back to tie the game at the end of one
Trailing 19-17, Benedictine went on a 12-2 run to move ahead by eight points
A three from MaKayli Vann opened the run and Reggie Much capped it with a three-pointer at the 3:59 mark to make the score 29-21
Benedictine led 29-25 at the half but Lakeland closed the third on a 10-0 run to take a 42-34 lead
Benedictine came back to tie the game at 48 on a D'Asia Williams three-pointer with 3:53 to go, but Lakeland denied a comeback with five free throws in the final minute
