Baruch Runs Past Brooklyn, Score First 28 Points in Home Win

The Baruch College Bearcats scored the first 28 points to cruise to a 74-50 CUNYAC home win against the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Tuesday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats started by shooting 65 percent (17-for-26 shots) in the opening 20 minutes. The entire bench saw action and 13 different players scored.

They also dominated in the rebounding category with a 41-28 advantage.

William Sixsmith and Chimaechi Ekekeugbor each scored 14 points. Andre Harris contributed 11 points.

Maynard Grant IV led the visitors with 11 points.

Baruch will return to action on Thursday 8 p.m. with the highly-anticipated Battle of Lexington against rival Hunter College.
