ROSEMONT, Pa. - After trailing 9-5 with almost eight minutes gone in the first half, the Rosemont College men's basketball team hit their stride, outscoring the visiting Baptist Bible Defenders 28-15 for the remainder of the half and holding off the visitors in the second half to claim a 69-50 CSAC victory this evening. The Raven's record is now at .500 all around (3-3, 2-2 CSAC) while the Defenders are now 0-8 (0-3 CSAC).

The Ravens were able to take advantage of opportunities created off of their defense. The Defenders doubled Rosemont's turnover total (26-13), outscoring Baptist Bible in points off turnovers, 26-8 to seal their advantage.

Rosemont was led in scoring by junior Tremell Green (Philadelphia) who scored 14. Also in double-figures tonight for the Ravens were senior Harrison Carsillo (Collingswood, N.J.) and junior Mitch Carsillo (Collingswood, N.J.) with 13 and 12 points respectively. Junior DeAndre Jordan (Marbury, Md.) led the Ravens with seven boards.

For Baptist Bible, Christian Attlesey found the net for 17 oints and led the Defenders with nine rebounds. Nate Wiersma pulled in seven boards for the Defenders.

The Ravens travel to The Garden State to face the Rowan University Profs on Monday, 12/5. Game time is set for 8:00pm.
