Pat Sodemann scored a game-high 20 points, Jordan Nelson added 19 and Mike Marietti came off the bench to add 16 points as Illinois Wesleyan won at No. 1 Augustana 89-84, part of a Wednesday night which saw key matchups all across Division III.

The Titans (13-4, 5-1 CCIW) took the lead on a jumper by Dylan Overstreet with just under nine minutes left in the game and never trailed again. IWU had a two-possession lead the last five minutes.

The loss snapped a 10-game winning streak by the Vikings, who fell to 15-2, 5-1 in the CCIW.

It wasn't a long trip to No. 7 Dickinson for No. 14 Franklin and Marshall, but it was probably a much longer trip back from Carlisle to Lancaster, as the Diplomats took an 81-48 beating at the hands of the Red Devils. Dickinson was 10-for-22 from 3-point range, including five 3-pointers by Brandon Angradi on the way to a team-high 17 points. Gerry Wixted added 14.
