Senior Andrew Ziemnik had 27 points and 14 rebounds while classmate Michael Mayberger added 24 points as No. 2 Illinois Wesleyan won at Division II Winona State 94-81 in an exhibition game Saturday night.

Illinois Wesleyan shot 50 percent from the floor (30-of-60) and 9-for-25 from 3-point range in the win.

Illinois Wesleyan held a seven point lead at the half and did not let Winona State get closer than five points in the second. 

It's the second consecutive year a Division III school has taken down the Warriors in a preseason game. Last year St. Thomas won at Winona State and went on to the national semifinals.
