Sometimes, Sunday afternoon in the UAA can lack a little energy. Half of the teams are on the road for the second day in a row, while everyone is getting up and getting loose for men's games before noon on a Sunday.

But at Brandeis on Sunday, that was not an issue. Players and teams came fired up, including John DiBartolomeo, who put the Yellowjackets on his back for 22 points and eight rebounds in holding off Brandeis. Pat Coleman talked to him (plus highlights) and Carol Simon, whose Brandeis women pulled off an upset in the second game.

On Saturday, old friends Bridget Crowley of Amherst and Bre Dufault of Tufts lined up on opposite sides of the floor, potentially for the last time after they had been best friends since the third grade.

Plus Crowley met a new friend as well. Read more about in the the Daily Dose and watch the interview with Crowley and Dufault. Plus, watch the archived broadcasts.

Friday in Maine took three interviews and two games to get through. There was plenty to see in a spur-of-the-moment detour to Biddeford, Maine, home of the University of New England. Pat Coleman stopped to talk to UNE women's basketball coach Anthony Ewing about his program, which is 16-4 with five freshmen playing key roles, including the entire starting backcourt.

Friday night, the No. 6 Middlebury men put Bowdoin away at the end, while Bowdoin's women salvaged a split in the doubleheader and Pat sat down with Middlebury senior Nolan Thompson and Bowdoin coach Adrienne Shibles

The opening day of the trip included a chance meeting with Emory's basketball teams and men's coach Jason Zimmerman in the airport and also included a chat with 2007 Jostens Trophy winner Ryan Cain as Pat recalled his last trip to Worcester.

Pat also talked with RIC coach Bob Walsh about his team, his use of social media and the state of the Little East Conference in a postgame interview.

Thursday is a single game, men only, but the rest are doubleheaders.
