With a conference schedule such as No. 1 North Central and others play in the CCIW, it's not surprising to think the Cardinals would pick up a loss here and there. But on Wednesday night, three other teams in the Top 13 fell as well. For women's wrapup, scroll down.

Kevin Sykes gave the Red Men a 47-45 lead with a layup midway through the second half and Carthage went on a 13-3 run to put the game away, handing the Cardinals their first loss.
"We've been in a little short on the executing side of things of late, and tonight the guys really dug in hard and played hard for each other," said Carthage coach Bosko Djurickovic. "We needed this. We've been a little unlucky, as well as un-good."
Catholic's first Landmark Conference road trip ended in a loss, as Juniata upset the sixth-ranked Cardinals to improve to 9-5.
"I thought that was the most complete game we probably played all year," said coach Greg Curley. "I thought we struggled a little bit the last few games and to come through that way tonight, I'm really proud of them."
Alex Raymond scored 23 points and Kevin Stapleton added 20 for the Eagles, who shot 27-for-34 from the line.

Top-ranked DePauw had a relatively close game as the Tigers defeated Kenyon 57-47 to take sole possession of first place in the NCAC. The Tigers led from start to finish with 13 points from Ellie Pearson. The 10-point margin of victory is DePauw’s smallest since Nov. 24.
