Messiah was held without a field goal for almost seven minutes but it wasn't enough as Dori Gyori had a game-high 16 points and a team-high seven rebounds to lead the No. 8 Falcons past Albright 53-43.
The win was the 500th in the career of Messiah's Mike Miller, coming against 195 losses.
Messiah harrassed Albright into 30 turnovers, helping the Falcons overcome 32 percent shooting from the floor and a 12-for-21 mark from the line.
The DeSales women followed the men's lead from earlier in the week, rolling over a ranked foe in defeating No. 21 Scranton 70-46. The Lady Royals (6-2) went nearly 13 minutes spanning the first and second halves without a field goal while watching DeSales (4-4) turn a three-point deficit into a 17-point lead. Scranton scored just 22 points in the second half while shooting 10 percent (3-for-30) from the field in the final 20 minutes.
Tayler Smith scored 23 and Kiera Payne had 14 rebounds to help Maryville cruise past No. 18 Emory 62-46. Maryville improved to 5-1.
Tufts used a 14-0 run to overcome an eight-point second half deficit as the 10th-ranked Jumbos edged host Bridgewater State 67-66. No. 11 Thomas More rallied past Washington and Jefferson 61-57 behind 15 points from Devin Beasley.
Top-ranked DePauw won its 32nd consecutive regular season game, improving to 7-0 with a 71-48 win at Ohio Wesleyan. No. 2 Mount Union had little trouble with Heidelberg, while No. 5 Wash U beat Augustana and No. 6 Lewis and Clark defeated Redlands.
Katie Langmeier and Niki Rivera scored 11 points each as Loras defeated Carthage 60-48. The Duhawks improved to 7-1 behind a 47-37 rebounding edge. Moravian defeated Merchant Marine to improve to 8-0, matching the best start in program history. Katie Lytle hit two free throws with five seconds remaining to lift Swarthmore past Gettysburg 53-52 and keep the Garnet unbeaten at 7-0.
