In a matchup for former MAC Freedom Conference rivals, Scranton topped King's 64-59 to remain undefeated in the young season.
King's held Scranton to 36 percent shooting during the first half and led 29-25 at the break. But the Royals warmed up in the second half and used a 17-4 run to take the lead. After the Lady Monarchs climbed within one point, Meredith Mesaris and Katherine Torto hit three-pointers to repel King's and seal the victory.
Mesaris led the Royals with 20 points while Erin Boggan added 18 points and 11 rebounds. Katlin Michaels scored 18 for King's. Full recap
No. 14 Thomas More defeated Centre 66-54 in the battle of Bluegrass State rivals. The Saints turned 24 Colonels' turnovers into 25 points. Thomas More hosts No. 1 Calvin and Capital this weekend.
Sixteen other ranked teams played and all of them won, most of them comfortably. No. 21 Coe held off Elmhurst 56-51. Mary Halvorson came off the bench to score 17 points and grab 11 boards for the Kohawks.
Outside the Top 25, the University of New England posted a surprising rout of Bowdoin 72-32. The Nor'easters held the Polar Bears to eight points in the first half and picked up their first win over Bowdoin in 17 years. Babson won a see-saw battle over Brandeis 53-52 despite Hannah Cain leading the Judges in points, rebounds and assists.
Alexis Wright became the first player in Moravian history to score 20 points and grab 20 rebounds and the Greyhounds defeated DeSales 69-57. Conference play began in the Centennial where Haverford took care of Johns Hopkins 58-39. St. Norbert defeated UW-Eau Claire 57-55 for the Green Knights' first win over the Blugolds in 23 tries.

In games where one player didn't score 138 points, LaGrange rolled past No. 12 Birmingham-Southern 90-68. LaGrange used a 12-0 run to separate itself from Birmingham-Southern. Kyron Anderson scored 27 points for the Panthers from Georgia and Zac Richards scored 15 for the Panthers from Alabama.
Williams topped No. 23 Wesleyan 56-48 in the first of two regular season meetings between the Little Three rivals. The teams will play again at Williams in January as part of the conference schedule.
No. 10 Cabrini bounced back from Saturday's loss to take down next door neighbor Eastern 80-66. The Scranton men notched a big win of their own in beating MAC Freedom champion Misericordia 60-57. The top two teams in the NJAC preseason poll opened conference play with wins. No. 17 Ramapo won at New Jersey City 67-60 and No. 20 William Paterson cruised past TCNJ 94-63.
Christopher Newport outscored Salisbury 44-19 in the first half and held on to win 77-63. Carroll stopped Rose-Hulman 65-59 in overtime. The Pioneers will take their 3-0 record to No. 6 North Central (Ill.) on Saturday. Millikin beat Blackburn 60-51 to end its 18-game losing streak dating back to December 2011.
Eureka's Jordan Kindred, who made headlines for a successful first-ever season of football this fall, scored his 1,000th career point midway through the second half, hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 6.5 seconds remaining and swatted away Monmouth's potential game-tying layup as time expired, sending the Red Devils to an 82-80 non-conference victory over Monmouth. It was Eureka's first win against Monmouth since 1976.
