Grinnell's Griffin Lentsch writes about one of his favorite parts about the D3hoops.com All-Star Team's trip to Europe, and sent a photo.

One of my favorite parts of the trip was the playoff game we watched in Den Bosch between the Den Bosch Eiffel Towers and Leiden. The Eiffel Towers were up 3-0 in a seven-game series to decide the Dutch Basketball League Champions so the stakes were pretty high.

The atmosphere in the gym was electric and unlike any thing I've ever been a part of. The gym was packed with extremely passionate fans cheering on the Eiffel Towers and a small but similarly passionate group of Leiden fans. The game was exciting from start to finish and had a very smooth flow because there were no TV timeouts or other big breaks in the action. Some of the fans had noisemakers and horns that made the gym very loud during big moments in the game.

The experience made me remember how fun it is to play in front of a rowdy crowd and showed me just how fun it can be to play "overseas."

Unfortunately the Eiffel Towers lost in an exciting game down the stretch but they ended up winning the next game a few days later to claim the Dutch Basketball League Championship.
