Saturday's results reshaped conference races in the NJAC, HCAC and Centennial as three ranked teams picked their first loss of the season. Illinois Wesleyan and UW-Eau Claire picked up big wins to stay atop their conference standings
Senior Brittany Powell and junior Naimah Clemons combined for 47 points to lead Kean to an 88-84 home win against No. 6 William Paterson in overtime. Powell scored a team-high 25 points, while Clemons added 22 points in her first game back after missing the last three games with an injury.
Kean improves to 15-2, 6-0 in the NJAC while William Paterson slips to 15-1, 5-1. Kean and Paterson are in different NJAC divisions so they only play each other once during the regular season. The Cougars now have the tie breaker to decide home court advantage in the NJAC tournament, if the teams meet again.
Manchester stifled No. 13 Franklin and scored just enough to beat the Grizzlies 39-36. Franklin shot 23.1 percent from the field (9-for-39) and 0-for-9 from three. The Spartans actually shot worse from the field (9-for-48) but hit one three pointer. With its first loss of the season, Franklin drops into a three-way tie for first with Manchester and Hanover, which beat Earlham 89-69.
Alyssa Oursler and Carolina Murphy scored 16 points apiece as Gettysburg knocked off No. 9 Muhlenberg, handing the Mules their first loss of the season, 60-57 in overtime. The Mules shot just 20-for-70 from the floor and struggled from the line as well, hitting just 14 of 24.
In the overtime, Muhlenberg led as late as a minute left in the game, but Alyssa Isler's jumper gave the Bullets (7-8) the lead and Oursler added a pair of free throws with 16 seconds left to extend the lead to three. Oursler secured the win by blocking Alexandra Chili's three-point attempt with two seconds left. Chili finished with 19 points but shot just 6-for-22. Muhlenberg maintains sole possession of first place because Johns Hopkins struggled to score in a 41-37 loss at Haverford.

No. 25 UW-Eau Claire has sole possession of first place in the WIAC after winning at No. 17 UW-River Falls 63-57. Nicole Christianson scored 17 points for the Blugolds (14-3, 7-1). The Falcons fall into a three-way tie for second with UW-La Crosse and UW-Stevens Point. The Eagles defeated the 11th ranked Pointers 47-41.
Michelle Bilek nailed a three-pointer with 2.8 seconds left to cap a 10-0 Illinois Wesleyan run as the Titans rallied to beat No. 23 Carthage 70-69. Tia Perry scored 14 and Jerlisa Bowser added 11 as Christopher Newport sent No. 20 Greensboro to a 48-42 home loss, its second loss in a row.
Williams College's tough road NESCAC weekend continued as Connecticut College knocked off the 18th-ranked Eph women 81-72 behind 30 points from Jenn Shinall. The Camels last trailed with 6:42 to go in the first half and got by far the best win of their 12-2 season. Tufts turned the ball over just four times all game and defeated No. 22 Colby 59-50. Amanda Rose scored a game-high 20 points to lead No. 12 Mount Union past Heidelberg 73-67.
Thomas More trailed by as many as 18 points in the second half before rallying and still falling short 68-65 at St. Vincent. Brittany Sedlock led the Bearcats with 24 points as the top of the PAC settled into a three-way tie.
North Carolina Wesleyan finished the game on a 31-8 run to get past Shenandoah 61-56. Paul Allen Duke won his 300th career game as Mississippi College defeated East Texas Baptist 58-47. Duke is 300-121.
Ithaca won a defensive struggle of Empire 8 unbeatens, defeating Stevens 48-37. Alexiah Grant hit a layup at the buzzer to give four-time defending MAC Freedom champion DeSales a 76-74 win at Delaware Valley.
