Due to slippery floor conditions, the men's basketball game between Maranatha and Wisconsin Lutheran was suspended with the Crusaders leading the Warriors 76-75 with 2:32 left in overtime. The game will resume on Friday, Feb. 18, at 6:00 p.m. Maranatha senior guard Brendan Brown made a layup with 0.9 seconds left in regulation to force overtime.
It was already the second scheduled date for the game, which was postponed from Feb. 1 because of snow. The women's game scheduled for 7:30 p.m. has been postponed to Friday at 6:45 p.m.
Texas-Dallas won its eighth consecutive game, beating Texas-Tyler 76-74. Senior Curtis Davis led three Comets in double figures, finishing with 21 points on 9-for-16 shooting while adding five rebounds, four steals and three assists. Gwynedd-Mercy improved to 20-5 led by Jon Crabtree's 20 points in an 81-64 win against Rosemont.
In women's action, Gallaudet lost for the second time in three games after a 20-0 start to the season, falling 55-51 at Penn State-Abington. The Bison outrebounded their opponents 41-12 but turned the ball over 35 times. Penn State-Abington improved to 7-16.
