Invitations are going out for the first D3hoops.com/Sport Tours International All-Star Team. The two 10-person rosters, one men's and one women's, are chosen from nominations by coaches and D3hoops.com staff and will encompass some of the top Division III basketball talent nationwide.

If you've received an invitation, believe me, we really would love for you to make the trip. We know the financial burden means it may not be an automatic decision but players can fundraise for the trip with some restrictions (check with your coach and the athletic department's compliance officer for details).

The trip includes sightseeing at Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, a boat trip down the Thames and more among five nights in London as well as visits to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe and more with three nights in Paris. Plus, of course, four basketball games against international competition.

I don't know if you envisioned Division III basketball could take you overseas when you started your college basketball journey, but this is a chance to make it happen. Plus, it's good exposure for you if you have thoughts about playing professionally in Europe after graduation.
