Tyler Sanborn had another big night, but it was Clay Henson coming up with the big shot when No. 23 Guilford needed it, sinking an off-balance three-pointer with 0.8 seconds left in regulation to help lift the Quakers past No. 22 Texas-Dallas 64-59 in overtime.
The Comets led 53-47 with 1:25 remaining in the second half after a Brandon Greene three-pointer, but Henson hit a three with 1:01 left to cut it to three. Greene missed the front end of a one-and-one and a Sanborn putback made it a one-point game. A pair of Comets free throws set up Henson's heroics. Saturday's men's scores.
