Burke rains 3's, scores 46

D3hoops.com first-team preseason All-American guard LeighAnn Burke shot 15-for-30 from the floor and hit 10 three-pointers en route to 46 points in leading No. 24 DeSales past Delaware Valley 86-70 on Tuesday night.

The 10 three-pointers ties for the most in Division III this season and she joined 20 other players tied for the seventh-most three-pointers in a game in Division III history. Corey McAdam drilled a 30-foot three-point shot as time expired to propel Nazareth past Rochester Tech 86-84. McAdam's heroics spoiled a fantastic night for the Tigers' Mark Carson who wracked up 31 points (including his 1,000th), 20 rebounds and eight blocks. Both MACs clarified their playoff picture.
