Jersey sets up a rematch

The Edgewood women held Lakeland without a field goal for the final 11:11 and finished on a 21-1 run in a 56-53 NATHC quarterfinal win. No. 7 beat No. 2 in the NEWMAC men's tournament for the second consecutive season, as Wheaton (Mass.) won at Clark. OAC women's seventh seed Mount Union did the same to second-seeded Ohio Northern 59-46.

In Wednesday's semifinals, the Lebanon Valley and Messiah women advanced to the MAC Commonwealth title game, while Carleton and St. Thomas will meet in the MIAC and Gwynedd-Mercy and Cabrini in the PnAC.

John Soboleski scored 24 points, including the go-ahead bucket with 20 seconds left, to give defending MAC Freedom champion King's a 77-74 overtime win against non-defending Skyline champion Manhattanville in the MAC Freedom semifinals. King's will play DeSales for the title.
