Wash U trailed by 10 at the half at Carnegie Mellon and it only got worse from there. The Tartans used a 21-2 run in the second half to expand their lead to as many as 37 before settling for an 86-55 win. Greg Gonzalez finished with a game-high 20 points for Carnegie Mellon in just 23 minutes.

Ben Strong had another trademark performance, scoring 30 points including two free throws in the final minute to help ice it as No. 23 Guilford won at No. 14 Virginia Wesleyan 75-67.
