Nick Harrington scored 37 points and had 33 rebounds for Southern Vermont to lead the Mountaineers past Mitchell on Sunday afternoon, 88-77. The senior fell three boards short of tying the Division III single-game rebound record set by Calvin's Mark Veenstra in 1976 and tied by Methodist's Clinton Montford in 1989.
Harrington, a senior, shot 16-for-25 from the floor and a perfect 5-for-5 from the line in the win. Southern Vermont outrebounded Mitchell 65-41.

The other notable games of the day were between DePauw and Oglethorpe, with the No. 12 DePauw women beating No. 25 Oglethorpe 75-63 despite going without a three-pointer for the first time in 227 games. Oglethorpe's men balanced the ledger, winning at DePauw 69-67 behind 14 from Joe Kennedy and Ahmad Kareem Shaheed's 12. It snapped DePauw's 20-game home winning streak.
