Dominique McClendon came back from a neck injury to shoot 13-for-21 from the floor and scored a game-high 32 points as Baruch upset No. 4 Messiah 70-69 in overtime.
McClendon added 12 rebounds and six steals as the Bearcats improved to 7-3. She did not play in Baruch's loss to Scranton on Sunday. Nikki Lobach scored 20 points to lead the Falcons. It was their first defeat of the season.

In men's action, UW-La Crosse held Zach Johnson scoreless in the second half and for most of overtime, but it wasn't enough as he hit the game-winner for Carleton with 1:51 remaining in a 69-67 overtime win. Johnson scored 19 of his 21 in the first half. No. 5 Mary Hardin-Baylor lost its first game of the season, 81-69 at Division II Incarnate Word.
