While UW-Whitewater's football season is still in full swing, its women's basketball team is looking to avoid a finish similar to last year. The Warhawks went 19-6 during the regular season but lost in the WIAC tournament opener to UW-Platteville and were on the outside looking in on Selection Sunday.
