Around the Nation
The offseason was a sad one for Wittenberg women's basketball. Longtime coach Pam Smith died of cancer at the age of just 47, affecting the program and years of alumni.
One of those impacted was Sarah Jurewicz, who played under Smith and graduated in the 1990s. So when she was asked to take over the program, she knew it would be much more difficult without Smith's guidance. But Smith will have a place on Wittenberg's bench this season. More in this week's Around the Nation.
If you're rehabbing a serious injury, take heart -- the road is long but hardly impossible. We're going to take a look at rehabbing players over the next couple of weeks, starting with UW-Platteville center Jeff Skemp. Plus the games to watch, ATN's Final Four and Dave McHugh's Hoopsville report. All that and more in Around the Nation.
