Curtis Wittenberg has been selected as the new Finlandia women's basketball coach and sports information director.

Wittenberg spent two seasons as Finlandia's assistant women's basketball coach under former coach Steve Nordstrom (2004-06). He has been head coach of the Lake Linden High School boys' basketball team since the 2005-06 season, with head girls' basketball coaching responsibilities added in 2006-07.

"We're very excited to welcome Curtis as head coach and sports information director," said Finlandia athletic director Chris Salani. "He's been a part of the Finlandia athletics program for the last four years and understands what our institution and athletic programs strive to achieve. I look forward to Curtis continuing where Nordstrom left off."
