Ducks quack up bracket

Stevens, one of the last teams into the tournament after getting upset in the Skyline semifinals, has reached the sectional semifinals instead. The Ducks defeated Ramapo 69-61 to advance to the Sweet 16.

Lake Erie lost its opening tournament game for the second consecutive season, as John Carroll edged the Storm 79-77. The Blue Streaks rallied from 16 down with 11 to play despite Pete Moran fouling out with 5:22 left. Rhode Island College built an 18-point lead and survived a frantic final few seconds to beat Brandeis 70-67. Keene State knocked off MASCAC champ Salem State 76-75 as a tip-in at the buzzer was waved off, putting two Little East teams in the round of 16. Full men's scores.

Guilford held off a late rally from Johns Hopkins to win, 80-73 and get a matchup with Lincoln, which went on a 25-4 run in the second half knocked off Catholic 81-70 to return to the Sweet 16. Ben Strong was the force for the Quakers with 29 points on 11-for-17 shooting. Tyler Nading tied his career high with 25 points as Wash U advanced past Whitworth 63-61.

Behind 26 points from Steve Cramer, Hope won the five-game series from Calvin and knotted up the 166-game series with an 80-64 win. Carroll knocked out its second Top 10 opponent in three days, defeating St. Thomas on the road 86-80 (photo gallery).
