The Blue Streaks rallied from 16 down with 11 to play despite Pete Moran fouling out with 5:22 left. Rhode Island College built an 18-point lead and survived a frantic final few seconds to beat Brandeis 70-67. Guilford held off a late rally from Johns Hopkins to win, 80-73 and get a matchup with Lincoln, which went on a 25-4 run in the second half knocked off Catholic 81-70 to return to the Sweet 16.
