Conference tournament season means many seniors will see their careers ended, while some will head to the NCAA Tournament. Once there, some are classified as favorites, others as Cinderellas.

It's too early to say for sure whether either of these teams is an NCAA Tournament lock, but they've run through their conferences without a loss. The Husson men are 20-5 and are trying to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time after many trips to the NAIA postseason. Husson nearly ran the table in the NAC last year, but even after graduating two 1,000-point scorers, they went one step better. More in Around the Nation.

The Maryville (Mo.) women are one game away from running the table in the SLIAC themselves, though that shouldn't be a surprise, since they've run the table for the past four years. The senior class can go unbeaten for their conference careers with a home win against Fontbonne (12-5 in the league). But what's next for the Saints, who reached the second round of the tournament last year?

On the other hand, Transylvania has been there before. And they've managed to stay in the hunt in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference this year despite losing a laden senior class from last year's Elite Eight team. Nick Feagan, who is a senior but wasn't on last year's team, talks about returning and providing leadership to a younger Pioneers team.
